The TV anime ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Hashira Training Arc (season 4) will begin broadcasting on Fuji TV from 11:15 pm on May 12, 2024. It will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV from 24:00 on May 18th. The first episode will be broadcasted as a one-hour special. The first PV and key visual have also been released.
In addition, a special edition of the “Swordsmith Village Arc” will be broadcasted on two consecutive nights on May 4th and 5th. A new video and poster visual were also released.
Demon Slayer season 4 first PV has also been released. It’s delivered with the opening theme song ‘Mugen’ by ‘MY FIRST STORY x HYDE’. This will be the first time the song has been released, other than the main part of the world tour screening which is currently being released to rave reviews!
‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ is based on the manga by the same name which is drawn by Koyoharu Gotoge. The manga has more than 150 million copies in in circulation. Total 23 volumes were serialized in Shonen Jump Comics. Then Ufotable adapted the manga into the hit anime Demon Slayer we know today.
This anime begins with Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons except his younger sister Nezuko. He then joins the Demon Slayer Corps in order to return Nezuko, who has become a demon, to her human form. He also aims to get revenge on the demon lord who massacred his family, Kibutsuzi Muzan. Tanjiro and Nezuko gained formidable allies Inosuke and Zenitsu who helped them a lot in their difficult quest. Their difficult journey of ridding the world of such vicious demons will continue in season 4.
