Bleach Anime’s 20th Anniversary Celebration begins with a series of special events and projects that go beyond the original manga and anime. “BLEACH THE LOCUS OF BRAVE” event will be hosted by The Yokohama Landmark Tower. Fans will celebrate 20 years of swordplay, action, and the journey of Ichigo Kurosaki as a “Shinigami Substitute”.
“Bleach” is based on a swordplay battle action manga by Tite Kubo, which was serialized in the shonen manga magazine “Weekly Shonen Jump” published by Shueisha from 2001 to 2016. The film depicts the main character, Ichigo Kurosaki, who gained the power of the Grim Reaper after a certain encounter and became a “Shinigami Substitute”. He is then caught up in the turmoil of the Soul Society, a place where souls who have died in this world gather and fight fiercely.
The final series of the TV anime, “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War,” aired in October 2022, and many fans of the original series were captivated by the beautiful drawing and anime original depictions. In July 2023, the second cour, “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War,” was released. The third cour, “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War,” will be broadcast in 2024.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of this work, a special event “BLEACH THE LOCUS OF BRAVE” has been decided to be held at the Yokohama Landmark Tower. It will be held from April 26 to May 26, and there will be a lot of exhibitions and merchandise sales.
It was also revealed that an “Epos Card” in collaboration with the TV anime “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War” will be issued. A total of three card designs have been released ahead of the start of accepting applications from March 29.
